Juha Aikioniemi started working at twoday in the autumn of 2018 (twoday was then called Visma Consulting). He soon became part of a customer's close-knit development team to provide state-of-the-art cloud service. Juha says that teamwork helps all the parties to understand the needs of the customers, which makes for a good starting point for the best possible app development.
Juha likes teamwork and the variety in his work. When conducting user surveys, it is great to get to meet professionals from different fields, to map out the needs of users and to design a more effortless everyday life for them.
To counterbalance the expert work, Juha enjoys, in his free time, video games and trekking in nature with his friends. He likes being in nature, especially on lands his family owns in Lapland.
“In Lapland, the Information Society Code is not realized, as there are challenges even with regard to sending SMS messages. There is plenty of time to hike in the cloudberry bogs until nightfall and to relax in the sauna.”
Juha enjoys it the most when a project is completed and carefully done. It is great to see how your own work has contributed to the end result.
“The idea that possibly tens or hundreds of thousands of people will use the app that we developed feels nice. It's great that you can make life easier for so many people through your own work. It motivates you to work diligently every day.”
Juha is friendly to his colleagues and ready to help others to enjoy working. The easygoing and laid-back Juha says that twoday allows everyone to be themselves.
