Pasi Hirvonen's enthusiasm for information technology was part of his life long before it also became his job in 2008.
Thanks to his diverse work experience, he is currently a Lead Specialist at twoday (previously Visma Consulting).
Pasi's work comprises various tasks related to building and designing software architectures and providing guidance, and he also cooperates with sales in planning the resourcing of various projects. According to Pasi, he also has time to do “regular coding work”.
Flexible working hours serve Pasi's rhythm of life well, as he has since the early ‘90s been involved in volunteer fire brigade activities, where the alarm can ring at any time. He is vice-chair of the fire brigade association, but fortunately he still finds time for another dear hobby of his, horse riding.
Through his spouse's competitive career, Pasi has found a hobby – that increases travel on weekends – in show jumping. In the photo, he is with one of his trusty horses, Malus Z. The couple competes on several weekends throughout the year, but even though the sport is demanding and competitive, Pasi does not consider himself a strictly competitive person.
“Competing is not a serious affair but rather a nice way to take your mind off of everything else for a while. However, I try to practise in a goal-oriented way, and it’s a good feeling when at times you do well!”
Pasi’s colleagues and friends alike know that Pasi is a reliable person and someone whom you can always turn to for advice!
